Greg Studley’s music career began in South Carolina at the age of 14, when he was hired to be the lead guitarist for country recording artist Darryl Gatlin. By 16, Greg was playing for numerous groups around the state, including blues singer Nappy Brown. After receiving a BM in Jazz Performance at Loyola University New Orleans in 2004, Greg returned to South Carolina to record his debut album, Philosoundphy. He was soon picked up by the multi-genre cover group Almost Nuts Band and toured around Asia. Now residing in San Francisco, Greg is playing with the neo-progressive group Quasar, the soulful Dave Matthews Blues Band, the rockin' party band Mostly Sonny, and is also a full-time guitar instructor.
